Indications for
PillCam Capsule Endoscopy

The Capsule Endoscopy Diagnostic System is intended for visualization of the small bowel mucosa for diagnosing diseases of the small
 intestine. 

Disorders that may affect the small intestine include intestinal cancer, Crohn’s disease, obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, iron deficiency anemia, malabsorptive diseases such as celiac/sprue, irritable bowel syndrome and intestinal injury induced by use of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).
